Death Valley Ride

These are pictures taken on a ride April 17, 2004 from Las Vegas, NV to Death Valley, CA. The riders were Phil,  Anthony, Bridget, Rob, Shawn and myself. We traveled approximately 380 miles total and turned around at Beatty, CA to return to Las Vegas. The weather was extremely windy with temperatures ranging from a low of around 40 degrees F going over the mountains to about 80 degrees F at the bottom of Death Valley. The wind was a constant  30 to 40 MPH. It  was quartering from the rear going to Death Valley but in our face coming back. You had to hold the grips tightly at times and keep the bike leaning into the wind to go straight. It was a great day with good friends even though the weather was a little harsh. We all had a great time.
